Nina Bumbalkova is an artist using photography, film and mixed media. She lives in London and works on freelance basis, currently also as a consultant and a documentary film producer for University of Lancaster.

 

Nina started her BA at the Academy of Arts in Prague during which she received a grant for a documentary project from the Czech Ministry of Culture. She continued her education at the London College of Communication and completed her Masters degree in Photography at the University of Westminster with her project Last Days, documenting London's squats in 2012.

 

Nina’s work has been exhibited nationally and internationally in solo and group shows including Shutter Hub, Cutting Corners and Ethnoscapes. She has been featured in publications for MAPS6 and Photograd.
